Laser Technques Laboratory

The laboratory performs the examination of optical parameters of laser devices and electrical parameters of power supply systems of laser and optoelectronic devices and signal analysis systems of optoelectronic devices.

Power Meter / Laser Energy Meter with USB or RS-232 Interface (2 pcs)

He-Ne laser

Semiconductor laser (set of 10 lasers),

Test stand for fiber optic parameters, (extended for fiber optic connectors testing)

Students carry out laboratory exercises related to measurements:

    The electrical parameters of the power supply of laser and optoelectronic devices and signal analysis systems of optoelectronic devices.
    
Laser beam optical parameters
    
Beam power, pulse energy,
    
Pulse duration,
    
Pulse repetition time,
    
Beam divergence,
    
Shape and diameter of the spot at the output of the optics.
